JetBlue’s Travel Bank Account Creation and Access

When you acquire your first credit card, JetBlue sends two welcome emails. One has your login ID, and the other has  the instructions for creating your password. I must mention, however, that the link provided for creating the password expires in 48 hours.

Travel credits do not include some extras. The extras that cannot be used for include checked bags, same-day switches, seat selection fees, Even More ^{®} Space, Core seats, priority security, pets, or unaccompanied minor fees, service fees, priority security, and more. Other things travel credits cannot be used for are on partner airlines, the non-air portion of JetBlue Vacations packages, and reservations through third-party travel sites.

To get independent access, you will check your email for communications from donotreply@jetblue.com and follow the password creation process. It’s for security purposes that the first email bears your login credentials, while the second one has your password.  

TrueBlue members can log into their TrueBlue account; their total travel credit will appear in the drop-down below their picture or initials.

Credit Availability and Processing Time of JetBlue’s Travel Credits

Travel credits usually appear in your account shortly after the cancellation of your ticket. If you do not see your credit, try logging out and back in. Credits for flight delay or cancellation may take up to 7 days to appear, according to JetBlue’s Bill of Rights. Third-party booking credits may require you to add your email address and TrueBlue number to your reservation for proper processing.

Multiple Travel Bank Accounts

With multiple Travel Bank accounts, each account’s credits must be separately booked. For example, when booking for a group of people and you’d like to maintain everyone on the same reservation, but use different Travel Bank accounts, call JetBlue. Only one account’s credits are allowed per person.

How to Manage Your Travel Credits

If you haven’t booked using your TrueBlue account, in such cases, your login ID will be emailed in three minutes. If you don’t have travel balance, no mail will be sent.
